Benin Delegation Visits Jinborui, One of Top Outdoor Lighting Suppliers, for 2,000‑Unit Solar Street Light Project

On September 1, 2026, a five-member delegation comprising representatives from Benin’s Ministry of Energy, customs authority, and the World Trade Bank visited Jinborui Yangzhou Electric Co., Ltd. for an on-site inspection and business meeting concerning a procurement project for 2,000 solar street lights.

The visit focused on Jinborui’s production capacity, manufacturing processes, quality management, and customized product samples. Accompanied by company representative Sony Cao, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of Jinborui’s capabilities in solar street light design, manufacturing, customization, and project delivery.

Inspecting Solar Street Light Production Capabilities

During the visit, the delegation toured the light pole workshop, solar panel workshop, and product sample display area. The guests reviewed the production process, from raw material processing and component manufacturing to final assembly and quality inspection.

At the light pole workshop, the delegation examined key manufacturing stages, including pole forming, welding, surface treatment, and structural customization. The two parties discussed pole height, material selection, wind resistance, corrosion protection, and configuration requirements for different road conditions.

The delegation then visited the solar panel workshop to learn about module production, quality control, and product performance under conditions such as high temperatures and strong solar radiation.

Discussing Customized Samples and Project Requirements

At the sample display area, the Jinborui team presented customized solar street light samples developed for the Benin project. The team explained key specifications, including lighting output, solar panel wattage, battery capacity, operating time, pole structure, and installation methods.

Both parties also discussed suitable product configurations and implementation plans based on Benin’s climate, road conditions, installation requirements, and long-term maintenance needs.

The visit gave the delegation a comprehensive view of Jinborui’s manufacturing operations, production processes, and customization capabilities. Both parties reached a broad consensus on optimizing the proposed solution, advancing project cooperation, and maintaining close communication during the next stage.
